Friends,
I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on (and waiting to tell you about) for some time!
You might remember seeing a sneak peek in one of our Round Ups last spring. Last May, I had the amazing opportunity to represent Perishable Goods and record some content outlining a biblical theology of the body for the Identity Project.
Well, the project launched this week, and you can check it out here:
The Identity Project boasts a huge library of content from a ton of experts that’s all designed to help equip Christians with the wisdom they need to navigate today’s confusion about what it means to be human—specifically on matters of sex, gender, and sexuality. (To learn more about the Identity Project, click here.)
The library boasts content from experts like author and pastor Sam Allberry, Colson Center’s John Stonestreet, and Falls Church Anglican’s Samuel Ferguson—all of whose content I think Perishable Goods subscribers will enjoy.
I would also encourage you to check out Conversation Workshop Co-Founders Linda Stewart and Linda Noble’s series of videos. They have a lot of great content on theology of the body and singleness.
And of course there’s the content that I developed:
On my page, you’ll find six ~10 minute videos outlining why we need a biblical theology of the body and what it is. The content unpacks the five statements we’ve outlined on our about page, as well as in our podcast, though in a more systematic and more accessible way.
It is a biblical theology of the body made simple.
If you want to learn more about theology of the body (or want others to learn about it!), these videos are a great place to start!
As you’ll notice, the Identity Project is a subscription based service, so there’s a fee.
But don’t worry, there are some great deals going on right now:
There is a free 24-hour trial that you will get simply by registering.
The Identity Project is running a discounted annual subscription of $79 per year (normally $99).
For those who subscribe, you can get an extra $10 off with the discount code: jaredhayden10 .
I realize this kind of promotional post is not our usual thing. However, I hope you will explore the Identity Project and share it with your friends!
If you watch any of my videos, I would love to hear what you think. You can drop me an email at pg@perishable-goods.com or comment below.
Grace and Peace,
Jared
This looks awesome, Jared! I’m excited to share it with others and make use of the content myself.
